Pathetic procedures created by moron(s)...

Today I received an email from HR USM as follows:

Khairun,
Kalau nak balik tolong buat surat rasmi
maklumkan tarikh nak pulang dan alasan sekali.
Sekarang ni peraturan kena dapat kelulusan dekan dan TNCA dulu
baru boleh balik...
InsyaAllah kalau dah habis selalunya USM akan bagi balik, macam manapun kena tunggu surat dari Khairun dulu.


I deleted the officer's name because I don't think she's the one who create such a pathetic procedure. My concern as follows:

1. I just don't understand why they can't accept an email/fax as a valid document while people around the globe already used email as legal evident in court.
2. How on earth I'm going to give 1-2 months notice (from previous email) while I don't even know my viva's date.
3. I just didn't get why they have to go through dean, DVCA etc before process my 'application'. Can the dean or DVCA say "you don't have to come back"? It's just bureaucracy...
   
4. What 'alasan' (reasons) they expect me to write to them. :-) Several suggestions from my friends (thanks to Zaidah and Sheeta-I added more suggestions from Eli and Syahira :-)) as follows:
• Saya ingin sekali diberi peluang untuk berkhidmat untuk bangsa, agama dan negara.
• Di samping itu, saya juga ingin kembali ke Malaysia dengan alasan saya nak balik.. kontrak dah habis wey. scholarship pun dah expired.
  
• Saya memang nak balik.
• Saya dah tak larat nak duduk sini sebenarnya hahaha
  
• Apsal tak cakap awal-awal? kalau tak boleh saya duduk sini...;-) Yg dean tu suruh saya balik hari tu apasal...hahaha
• Kerinduan yg memuncak kepada tanah air tercinta
  
• Kerana saya dah tak tahu nak buat apa lagi kat sini
  
• Mak bapak saya suruh balik (berdosa tau kalau lawan cakap org tua)"
  
• Saya ingin menyambut hari kemerdekaan negara yang ke 50....Merdeka!!!!"
• Saya tak nak balik lah camtu..tp boleh tak bg scholarshiplagi..saje suka2...:))
  

Itula jawapan2 pilihan oleh badut2 calon PhD hahaha...

Now, I think I understand why some people choose to stay..tooo much hassle to go back! But, if I stay, I bet it will take them at least 2 years to issue me a show cause letter..

Well, I emailed them for the third time. Just wait if I get more jokehahaha
