U ranking..

I guess most of my colleagues were upset to see our university drop from 5 star to 3 star as in news paper in the this link University ranking

What can we say?? Something need to be done we cannot just simply blame the system..I just wonder how 5 star university drop to 3 star university under Research University program...Syok sendiri kot hahahahaha....

Following news about TDM quitting UMNO, those who watched news last night and read newspaper today should read this link about Mukhriz..When I watched his press conference on TV, I already knew they simply edited his statement to what the sleeping beauty wanted to hear, not really what actually happened...Here, are some interesting points taken from the link above..Up to us, believe what's on 'official' media, or alternative media...:


Saya amat faham dan bersetuju bahawa tindakan ayahanda saya adalah kerana sayangnya beliau kepada UMNO. Saya juga percaya bahawa bagi mencapai matlamat tindakan tersebut, terdapat lebih dari satu cara perlaksanaanya. Maka dengan itu, saya mengumumkan bahawa saya TIDAK AKAN MELETAKKAN JAWATAN DI DALAM UMNO,SEBAGAI AHLI PARLIMEN JERLUN MAHUPUN SEBAGAI AHLI UMNO. 2. Seterusnya, saya serta rakan-rakan yang sependirian dengan saya dengan ini MENDESAK SEKERAS-KERASNYA AGAR YAB DATO’ SERI ABDULLAH HJ AHMAD BADAWI MELETAKKAN JAWATAN SEBAGAI PERDANA MENTERI MALAYSIA, PRESIDEN UMNO DAN PENGERUSI BARISAN NASIONAL DENGAN SEGERA;

3. Kami juga mendesak agar Majlis Tertinggi UMNO MEMBUKA SELUAS-LUASNYA SEGALA RUANG DEMOKRASI PARTI YANG TERMAKTUB DI DALAM PERLEMBAGAAN PARTI yakni dalam bentuk pemansuhan sistem kuota, membenarkan Mesyuarat Agung Luar Biasa diadakan, tidak menghalang ahli-ahli UMNO untuk mengadakan majlis bersama pemimpin atau tokoh Melayu, dan tidak mengeluarkan sebarang bentuk arahan, kekangan atau larangan yang menafikan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dalam parti; dan

4. Selanjutnya, kami MENGGESA AHLI UMNO KHUSUSNYA DAN RAKYAT MALAYSIA AMNYA, menyuarakan bantahan mereka terhadap kepimpinan YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi secara terbuka dan lantang melalui surat peribadi, sms, surat kepada media serta melalui sidang-sidang media, bagi MEMBERI TEKANAN AGAR YAB DATO’ SERI SEGERA MELETAKKAN JAWATAN SEBAGAI PERDANA MENTERI, PRESIDEN UMNO DAN PENGERUSI BARISAN NASIONAL.

Sometimes we just need a little push...

My first batch FYP students finished their project completely last week..Of course, I realized sometimes I gave them a hard time. I always believe they can do their best so that I keep pushing them to strive the best in them. I'm glad majority of them are 3 pointer students so lots of job offer waiting for them already..Although it's difficult time for me to look for RA or potential master student, I'm glad all of them are marketable...

I thank all of them for good results...some are publishable, some need extra works that my RA will continue during this semester break. I think I taught them more on how to survive in the real world which they can't get anywhere else...

Dear Dr,

A million Thanks I send to you Dr! For everything you've done. I'm so so so glad to have you as my supervisor~~
I was being lazy at the beginning... You asked me one question: 'When only you want to start your FYP??', that I stil remember until now. B'cos of this question, I decided to put all effort and strive to the best! And today, finally Im grad, thank you Dr for your patient, your wisdom and your support~! I can't imagine if you never ask me that question...Hahahaha~~~

Berbudi kepada tanah...

Some people wonder why I have to go to my house almost everyday...well, I have various plants that must be watered especially during 'hot' season like this...even my neighbor was wondering when I'm going to move in coz they saw a lot of me since few months ago....

Here are several pictures taken from my backyard..In less than 2 months, I can see the 'outcomes' already..hehehe...teringat kata-kata orang tua-tua, berbudi kepada tanah, pasti ada hasilnya......

From yesterday onwards, I even can't miss going to my house coz I already put fish in my pond..let see if they can survive until I move in..hehehehe

heading to South Korea

I'm heading to South Korea today for a meeting in a research institute in Busan..Actually, I don't think I really want to go since I just came back from Germany few weeks ago...I haven't even completed my report from previous visit! arghhh...I just don't know why I should go...the main reasons are to support my colleague to find a suitable project to start up collaboration....and second, my colleague arranged for everything including funding for my trip...I just hope this trip will have outcomes..or else it will be a waste of taxpayers' money...:-((

Anyway the trip is too short, we will spend only 2 nights over there since we have to come back for exam board meeting...really rush..and so many work to do..I have to bring over a master thesis which I just received 2 days ago, and I have to provide a report a day after I come back from Korea..and the viva will be on the same day I have my other compulsory course...see..life sucks...hehehe....
