the last time I did something for the first time

When was the last time I did something for the first time??..Yes I can answer, last week !! hehehe..I attended biodistribution analysis of drug encapsulated nanoparticles in Grenoble, south of France..Although in the first place I thought this analysis was disgusting, turn up it was quite interesting..There you go, am I become heartless and cruel ?? Or I just enjoying something new???

Oh ya, I produced the drug encapsulated NPs, so I did not want to be responsible for their suffer or dead hehe..Thank God, the cytotoxicity test in vivo few weeks ago proved that all mices alive after a week..So, their dead has nothing to do with me hehehe...

Swiss nude mices playing around

Mices were anasthetized for imaging purposes..

Me watching mices faint..hehehe
Faint mices underwent imaging test

Me...so pity to see this mice..

Mice was injected with drugs (not by me)..I deny any involvement hehehe

The crazy part, necropsy of mice to see drug distribution in the swiss nude mices..Hmm I don't like this part though...

For now, I started packing, cleaning etc as if I'm going back for good next 2 weeks....oh ya, life will be more hectic at for the next 3 weeks. Anyway, since when I ever have non-hectic life to gegin with :-D

For now, besides my work, I'm enjoying Paris-or should be called "savour the moment"...I don't think I will come again for travel to this overrated city, so might as well I explore Paris, see paris more than Parisien...hahahha...here are videos during Bastille day celebration at Eifel tower..Till then....

Early sign of spring ???-Lake Daumesnil, Paris

Mas keep asking me any sign of spring in Paris ?? hello...the weather was still depressing the whole week... When I woke up this morning I 'was' thinking of going for a jog. Luckily, I checked the weather forecast on internet first. It was 1C. As a rule of thumb, I would never going for a jog if the temperature was below 5C..hehehe..or just my excuse for not doing so??? hehehe...I spent sometimes on my bed, chatting with my ex-housemate and watched several 'cerita kampung'..I'm not going to tell what kind of 'cite kampung' I'm watching over here...:-))

Oh yeap, when I finally off the bed, I opened the window shutter. It was foggy outside, no wonder the temp was very low..It was foggy until 11am, how terrible was that..sigh...Thank God, by late afternoon the weather was better so I decided to walk to the park Lac Daumesnil (lake), which was quite close to my place...I managed to wear thinner jacket coz the temperature was around 14C. The highest temperature this year!

Again, there's no early sign of spring except in my apartment hahaha..My apartment manager plants lots and lots of new season flowers since 2 months ago..Pity him coz a few times snow has 'buried' his flowers hahahaha...somehow, most of the flower survived the cold weather..Here are several pictures from the park.

Blue sky definitely another reason why so many people around

The least private park I ever see in my life...hundreds if not thousands of people mingle around..or everybody just excited of slightly warm weather??

Very few ducks around...hmm probably they were afraid of so many visitors..

Everybody enjoying clear sky..family/couple day out

12 hours visit

Me, Zurina and Priya spent a day together. Since they said it's up to me to show them around, I just brought them to tourist attraction places in Paris..As for myself I never knew how much time was needed to visit all places in Paris, but again it's up to our interest. For me, the must see places are Eiffel tower, Du louvre Museum, Arc de Triomph, and of course souvenir shopping somewhere in Anvers.

So I started with du louvre museum. I've been inside once so I didn't bother to go in again. In order to tour in, we need at least 4 hours inside..Both of them also did not really interested go inside. So, we just took photo outside..

After that, I brought them to Opera house and Lafayette Gallery. Typical Msian, we just needed to do window shopping and check the price at the gallery. The price is just too expensive or at least I know where to get a better bargain :-)

Next place is Sacre Ceour because close the place, Anvers, there's a lot of souvenir shops..and the price was much cheaper. Also, lots of arts thingy on sale in that area..I forgot to capture the shopping spree activities though but believe me we can get the best bargain over there..In fact I bought myself 2 paintings and some souvenirs hehehe...Also, there's a lot of nice cafe for caffein attact stop hahaha..It's important for accein addict person like me...

Anvers/ Sacre Ceour
I don't really know about night life in Paris since I always finish work at night..This time, I brought them to stroll along Champs Elysees-the most famous st in Paris among tourist..erk, beware everything is ridiculously expensive over there. Even if you want to go to toilet it will cost you 1.50 euro per entry hahaha..the cheapest food there is McD..We settled with light meals banana chocolate crepes and hot chocolate...

Along Champs Elysees

Suddenly I've lost interest to write longer..hehehe..till the next post...

Eiffel tower at night

Hmm now it takes ages for me to update my blog..I'm just so lazy to sit down and write something hehehe..well, I guess I'm just too tired to write anything..

After long weeks of busy in the lab and report writing, finally I managed to do something I never done before hehehe..I've been here for 4 months and yet I never had a chance to see Eiffel tower at night. We always finished work around 7pm, so there's no way any of us want to go to another side of the city just to see the tower..At least not me hehehe...

Last night, we finally managed to go to Eiffel tower after office hour. We did not plan, but out of nowhere our friends requested if we can meet them over there..It took me 30 minutes by metro from my office to the place..here are some pics...(I simply don't have idea to write more hehehehe)

Several shots of Eiffel tower..magnifique???

4 Frogs create history

Nothing much to say about the said frogs, I just borrowed some well said sentences about them:

1) The worst species of politicians — self-serving; greedy; unprincipled; cowardly and dishonest.
2) Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said it was not a good idea for Barisan Nasional (BN) to gain majority by bringing in people of poor quality. “Two people are accused of corruption. If you bring in corrupt people before they are found not guilty that is not going to improve the quality of the party. You want to accept people who want to jump into your party you need to know the quality of the person also.”

sigh...not surprisingly, all fingers pointed directly to Putrajaya..Let the people decide..

Brudge and Ghent, Belgium

On New Year break (or a day after I returned from London) I continue my holiday in Belgium. Brussel is not that far away from Paris, about 1++ hour by Thalys train. Since it was still holiday season, the train was fully packed. In fact some passengers had to stand all the way to Brussel...Remind me of KTM in 1980s...hehehe..I reached Brussel quite late that day. So, I did not do much except minggle around to find nice food. ..Oh ya, when I reached the train station I saw lots of Muslim so I just followed their direction with hope I could find halal food. ..What a nice thought..

The next day, I went for tour to Brudge and Ghent. Both towns were quite old, roughly around 1200-1600 years..hehehe..Actually, I'm still confuse how did they say the age of a town. I don't even know how old is Kuala Lumpur nor do Penang..hehehe...How ???

I always love old buildings in Europe..Somehow they still can preserve the old buildings..Yeah, of course they can since they were the one who invade others...They bombed other countries, they robbed our economy and later they brought all natural resources to built their country..:-0 Just go back to history to see how some countries can have so many old, luxury andbeautiful building. For thus who love arts, I think Belgium is a must visited country.

HUB-The same old shit...

I just don't it, what Malaysia really want to be ?? From halal hub, biotechnology hub, low cost airlines hub, and now education hub ??..Don't they ever going to learn problems of having to many outsiders in the country ?? In 1990s, they brought in so many Indonesian and Bangladeshi to work as maids, labours and so on..Then, the criminal rates increasing day by day..Few years ago, they introduced visitors visa upon arrival, end up so many so called 'visitors 'e.g. Indonesian, Chinese from China, Indian from India simply disappeared and never returned to their home countries. Until today, almost every week we can read in newspapers that these 'visitors' were caught due to their involvement in unhealthy activities. Then, we heard a lot of Malaysian women involved in drug trafficking around the globe which was later blamed on African and Middle east agents that enters Malaysia using either visitor visa or students visa..Also, remember how much loss happened in Malaysia due to 'black money' activities, blamed it to African..

Now education hub ?? Who will benefit from it ? I seriously against the idea of having too many outsiders in the country. Not only due to increasing criminal rates and social problem, but also one day we might loss our identity. How are we going to differentiate Malaysian Chinese and Mainland Chinese ?? How are we going to differentiate Malaysian India and India from India. Both Chinese and Indian fought really hard to get to this level but out of no where, the new comers may share their benefit...I'm not going to comment on what Malay might lose because my view could be too offensive...:-D

oh ya..ASIA untuk ASIA...

make full use of FB

I was impressed when I glanced through nzherald how Queenstown Police Dept caught a burglar by posting his images on Facebook..hehehe...so, criminal out there, you are safe until your local police and folks become internet savvy hahaha...Having said that, I would say it will take a life long for Malaysian police though...

Christmas break 2009, London-Swindon-Winsor Castle-Stonehedge-Roman Bath

I seriously almost loss patient maintaining my blog...sigh..Not that I'm losing my touch, but I simply too tired every time I'm home. Moreover, currently I'm writing lots of technical reports which require serious thought and lots of reading. My eyes too tired, in fact my brain also seems like deteriorating hahahahaha...

ok, just a bit info about my Christmas trip to London. As usual UK weather was a bit depressing. When Eurostar came out from Channel tunnel, it was still feels like in the tunnel..gloomy...dark..it was 12 noon ! Now, I understand why my friends hate UK weather that much hahahaha..I had lunch at Iza's place, she was kind enough to pick me up at St Pancras, cook and of course became my camera woman for the day..hehehe..although Paris always colder than London, but I think London a bit windy..or I did not go out that much in Paris ??? whatever

Very close to Iza's place

On 2nd day, nothing much can be done since there was no public transport since Christmas eve...so funny for me. When I was in NZ, at least public transport still running on Sunday timetable..A/Shidi drove us around London..On the 3rd day, we went for boxing day shopping in Swindon..My kind of place, outlet stores...The longest boxing day shopping in my life...We were there until the mall closed..

In Greenwich Park

Next to Imperial college

Somewhere in a tunnel below the river..nama tak ingat..

Ni balik shopping kat Swindon- dah malam..:-D

The next day, I took a tour to Windsor castle, Stonehedge and Bath...nothing much to tell, I saw what I really wanted to see. The weather was cold and windy..The tour also soooo long and tiring..more than 9 hours trip..hmmm...
