Space flight participant
It is so unbelievable if MOSTI find out later he is not guilty...I wrote about his charge in August, and the matter was asked in Parliament just last month (October/November). MOSTI only requested the proof 2 weeks ago..Unless I have some power, then only I could be influenced by media. I'm afraid in Bolehland there is no way we can get fair justice. He is the UMNO's 'mascot' so read my lip-he is NOT guilty even after proven guilty...lots of things can be swept under the carpet...

The value of Datukship..
Read also Jannah's post here:
p/s: Kayron..hang lagi lanyak dpt kot.. kang dh dpt license not to get married for 2 years.. semata-mata utk negara..pergh..
Anybody wants to give me Datukship??
-------------
Original post:
I nearly fell off my chair when I first read in NST last night Shah Rukh Khan will be awarded Datukship by Malacca..In the first place, my conspiracy theory was Ali Rustam ambition. He's running for UMNO VP, and everybody know how much Rosmah admires Shah Rukh Khan hahaha..I think I read about this somewhere few years ago. There you go..somebody start kissing ass, create a link if not directly to the President in waiting, then they go for the real woman in power.
And today in The Star, Ali Rustam said the Datukship was proposed by Daim..Hmm next conspiracy theory is something to do with money hahaha...Why Daim's name comes out every time recession hits Malaysia??? How much he actually gained in previous recession in 80s and 90s???
I just believe there is no value to Datukship any more..Be a good ass kisser, then surely we can get Datukship later hahahaha...

non-economist point of view on 2009 budget :-D
Since all my course works were completed, I took 1 week off this week. Finally, I managed to do lots of things including pay various bills, zakat, repair my car, arrange necessary financial thingy etc..quite a hectic week I would say.
Today, I allocate some time to watch PM table the budget. On the bright side, I appreciate the bonus for civil servant. Also, I quite like the idea of energy plan e.g less than RM20 bill do not have to pay for bill (although my bill normally RM70++), tax reduction for hybrid car etc. I also like the idea of various incentives to farmers and low income people, various tax exemptions for ordinary people like us e.g. interest from saving, telephone and internet bills etc.
However, I have serious doubt on certain issues. This is my personal opinion-rakyat marhaen with science and engineering background. Large amount of money was allocated for Sabah and Sarawak-why?? Pressure to remain in power? Large amount of money for public transport improvement e.g Rapid KL and Rapid Penang-who will benefit from this? (clue-check shareholder of this company :-D). Also, large amount of money to buy new buses, who will benefit from this??-read here. hehehe..Malaysian are just too dumb to realize about this...
Either we realise or not, the budget was only described about how to spend the money..However, the only income I can see was from increment of cigarette price from 5 cents to 3 cents- is it enough to support the whole plan? I would like to see more on how government are going to generate income, how are they going to get more fund. My analogy, I need to buy this and that but I'm not sure if I can have the money to materialize my plan..sound ridiculous??? :-)
I also nearly laugh to dead when I heard the opening and closing...let me re-phrase for those did not have a chance to watch it today.
Opening-
"Semangat setia kawan yang ikhlas teruji ketika kita menghadapi kesukaran dan kesusahan. Kawan di masa senang memang ramai, tetapi kawan sejati yang setia dan sanggup bersama di masa susah tidak mudah dicari"...My friend suggested he actually described his situation )
Closing-
We need to get on with the business of governing and not waste any more time with opportunistic threats to seize the people's mandate through undemocratic means, dengan izin"
Probably those sentences didnot have impact on you, but believe me if you listen to how he actually said it, then you will understand why I said so...what's that supposed to mean?? Why did he say so?? What are the relation between the tabled budget and opposition?? For me, those remarks are just so NOT-PROFESSIONAL...or childish!
The whole 'teks ucapan' (in Malay) can be obtained here
Enough said for now..
p/s: I thank Eli for being with me throughout the budget-even when I fell asleep..hahahaha

PRK P. Pauh
I quite like this article on How and Why UMNO lost..Have a look..
Original post: 25 August 2008
Since my departure is postponed to 28th, I'm taking 3 days off for myself..In a way, I simply need a break..At the same time I also need to tidy up my house and pack my stuff.
I spent the whole morning get rid of my vegetables garden in my backyard. I can't imagine if I just leave the plants as it is, I think my garden will be like rain forest after a year hahaha...and I seriously afraid of snake..Basically, I only left very few plants in my backyard.
Back to the original topic, since I'm on leave today, I followed my sister drove around Permatang Pauh constituent in the afternoon. In my opinion, poster wise I would say PKR can easily win. Although, I'm not Anwar's fan, I have a feeling he can easily win because people around there simply admire him without limit. For myself, his previous 'report card' just too bad to get my vote..
I sort of pity BN's candidate Arif Shah. When we drove around, we saw lots of Anwar's poster with various clothes. On the other hand, very least of Arif Shah poster. We were a bit confused Arif Shah or Pak Lah/Najib is the candidate because heaps of their photos compared to Arif Shah?? I also had a feeling very few people actually help him during campaign because most of BN's posters were not placed as high as PKR's posters. In fact, road signboards are higher than BN's poster :-))
Here are several pictures around PRK P. Pauh..

Why he should be kicked out...
Probably, he should consult pro-canselor a.k.a first lady in waiting.
I believe the world is very close to the END. What ever mistake we make today, God will refund by CASH so that we can learn from our mistake...

Pack-lah...
Yesterday, when I came back from Seberang Jaya, most petrol stations were full of cars :-D..Thank God, I already knew Pack-lah goin' to announce the new oil price yesterday so that I already fill up my car in the morning...the stampede much worst than before, I would say. Some petrol station, the queue can be up to 500 meter..imagine...Come to think of it, now I always spend around RM60 per week. After this, I need EXTRA RM30...although we still can afford it doesn't mean we are willing to spend that much..
My questions to the 'decision makers' up there:
Do they pay for:
1) Petrol ?
2) Road tax ?
3) Toll ?
and yet they still claim for travel allowances. First thing government should look into is to withdraw all ministers and JUSA allowances related to transportation. Then only they will understand our situation..If they are not in our shoes, how are they going to understand our need?
Or else, PACK-LAH!

slap in the face
Why we have idiots like this in our society?? All ketua kampung that was appointed by previous state gov were asked to resigned..and yet they use tax payers' money to keep paying the allowances...Few weeks ago, all previous Jawatan Kuasa Kampung (JKK) in Pakatan Rakyat lead states were asked to resign...BUT...they were appointed as JKKP..means, taxpayers have to pay the allowances for both JKK and JKKP..what the %&*#..
Serve selected people or serve the rakyat?? If they behave like this, I'm just afraid people will completely vote them out in the next general election...clean your shit!
