from gray to slightly blue....:-)
When my dean asked me about it, I thought why not...then only she forwarded the letter to me..The course was organised by Ministry of Higher Education and Biro Tata Negara...hmmm I think most of you can guess what the course is all about hehehehe...let me copy a bit an email I receive from them:
Y. Bhg. Dato'/ tuan / puan,
This course was not properly organised..we had to arrange everything by ourselves. I could not even get a hotel a day before either in Langkawi or Kuala Perlis...Finally, I managed to get flight ticket, Firefly, on the registration day...
With my flight Firefly that could not fly for more than 3 hours, it was quite tiring when I got there. I was quite lucky, I reached Langkawi about time they have LIMA air show. So I spent several minutes just to watch the air show :-D By the time I reached BTN camp, they were in the middle of first talk. Well, I would say it was a good talk. At least we can see how many seats in universities was robbed from us under the name of meritocracy...why?? BN components lost hope in UMNO due to 1999 election..there you go...One question from the speaker why students live in the same place, eat the same food, taught by the same teacher but very few Malay got excellent result??
We raised question to the speaker..Universities are the final filter in education..In water supply system, if we don't have a got filtration system, the final filter won't be able to produce clean water. In universities, especially engineering and science, we can really differentiate those from STPM and matriculation..Those from matriculation really weak in maths, chemistry, and physic unlike their friends from STPM. How on earth we can expect them to compete in university??
I like LDK session since my facilitator quite good to make us see reasons :-) Not that I changed to BLUE already...but I can see reason why these people have to vote for 'big' party even though they know this people is full of shit...just for ketuanan Melayu...well, I can't really lay out the statistic here...I agree with my facilitator, politicians are stupid...i don't think they ever think about it...they don't care about their religion, race etc but they only think of themselves...and we 'anak bilis' have no choice but to vote for them...life is just unfair...
I really hate kuliah maghrib and suboh because the ustaz was in PMS state :-D..Not only the Islam HAD-HARI is so lame, the ustaz itself so unpredictable..guess what, 3/4 of women 'boikot' kuliah...Had-hari is an approach..what approach???approach to make people run away!??
They keep on talking about Hindraf..Hello, government was the one who provoke Hindraf group to gain support overseas...I heard it in the news..Once this group go overseas, they charge them...what the ....but I never support Hindraf anyway..
I like repelling from the tower..:-D for me, not worth the frightened when we were on top of the tower...hahahaha...the trainer in fact asked me to say prayers hahaha...as usual, I was a bit over...I stopped in the middle of the tower just to get a nice photo...will post it later hahahaha....
that's all about it...too many to write, but I better get back to work...

kisah kau dan aku...
Teringat kisah ku di malam itu
Sejak bertemu ku rindu selalu
Tak dapat aku melupakan oh wajah mu
Telah menjadi lukisan di hatiku
Korus1:
Bagaikan burung yang terbang berkicauan
Riang hatiku kau jadi kekasih
Tak ingin aku akan perpisahan
Hidupku riang tiada mengenal sedih
Tiada ku sangka mendung nan menjelma
Datang mengelapkan sinaran hidupku
Belum puasku merasakan hangatnya
Dingin terasa di seluruh tubuhku
Korus 2:
Masa berlalu kini kau dah berjaya
Malangnya aku telah kau lupakan
Tiada ku kesal begini jadinya
Kan ku hadapi sebagai satu cabaran
Waktu ku sepi ada yang hadiri
Memberi kasihnya sebagai penganti
Telah ku lupa segala sakit di hati
Tetapi kini engkau ingin kembali
Tak mungkin aku menerimamu
Dan melukakan hati kekasihku
Lupakan saja apa yang belaku
Jadikan ini satu kisah hidupmu
(Ulang 2x)

academic life
As expected, Chinese students did quite well in their exam. Very few Malay students did well, while others only average or below average...
Remind me of BTN talks about matriculation students: how students live in the same place, eat the same food, taught by the same teacher BUT did not get the same results??? During matriculation, more than 95% Chinese got CGPA 4.00...
During my time, we never had academic advisor. I think nowadays students are quite lucky. They have lecturer that they can ask for advice. Either they want to take the opportunity or not is another story...
I pity a guy who came to me and admit his result was bad...He's quite down when he said his family put high hope on him...quite 'touching' when a guy nearly cry in front of me hehehehe...what can I do?? The only thing I can do is try to make them see reason why they need to excel...
How hardworking is our students? God knows...I guess I'm the only one who's going to start class tomorrow..Most of the lecturers will only start their class after Christmas...during my time, we attended class whenever our lecturer asked us to do so...to date, lecturer cannot start class because students not around...unbelievable....Of course, I don't have to 'balik kampung', so I don't care...hahahahaha...

Bolehland always confident...
Another joke by The Star
I wonder, how did they choose the respondents?
Poll: Malaysians most confident of their elections
By ARYSTLE KUAN
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians are not only the strongest supporters of democracy in Asia but are also the most confident that their country's elections are fair and free, according to a recent study by TNS and Gallup International.
New findings from Gallup's Voice of the People research showed that Malaysians' belief in the transparency of their elections stands in contrast to the sentiment expressed by more than half of respondents across the region who do not consider their country's election processes to be impartial.
(seriously??))
The survey interviewed more than 60,000 people in 56 countries around the world, representing the views and attitudes of more than 1.2 billion citizens.
Eight out of 10 respondents surveyed across Asia agreed that democracy is still the best system of government despite it facing problems.
About 73% of Asians said they were satisfied with the overall democratic practices in their home countries -- only 6% of Malaysians were dissatisfied. Nearly half (47%) of respondents said their elections were weighted, imbalanced and biased.
Malaysians generally felt that they were well represented by their government's actions and that they had political stability and security.
(Can we say Malaysian believes anybody who can market themselves or can 'jual minyak? or Malaysian are just too lazy too think about the best and the worst!)
TNS and Gallup International conducted the study in Asia between June and August this year with the citizens of Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines and South Korea.

what's going on?
hello...ladies and gentleman (or morons who appointed them), tell me the qualities they have, or royalty blood in them that make them the most suitable candidates for the post...In all universities in the world, Canselor was elected based on their contribution to education system...or to the country..In Malaysia, most of Canselors were from royalty family (king, sultan, sultanah)..since we have too many universities, I think most off the universities (especially private universities) sort of deaf and blind to find the most suitable candidate for the post..end up, they choose to be ass-kisser by appointed wives of the most unwanted men in Malaysia to be Canselor...hahahahaha....
We have so many emeritus professors in Malaysia, well-known businessmen, prominent highest post civil servant etc, but we still choose the losers to lead our universities. They can't even change their husband, how on earth they can change universities for better???
And we still day dreaming to be world class universities...what a joke!
